The picture is our American family.  The only major sacrifice being made in the move to Svitavy is the distance from these.

Our daughter Amy wrote: "I have a hard time believing that you will be across the world in another country this time next year. How amazing is that! I am so glad that we got to hear dad speak about what your plans are in Czech Republic because it makes me feel better about the situation. I know its all for a very good cause - it's just that you will both be missed soooo very much. Hopefully it won't be forever. It will be fun to come and visit if we are able to. We love you both lots and hope you have a great and safe new year.

In the Czech Republic we also have family, brothers, sisters, children, and friends.
